AURORA, step by step

How AURORA works.

You write the brief. AURORA handles the rest: brand kit, design system, strategy, website, changes, presentation and a campaign for your niche. Here are the nine steps, and what each one gives you.

01 — The brief

You write the brief.

It starts with a request on the Agent page, in the reserved area. Say what you need and attach the brief, a PDF for instance: “Here’s Tsubasa’s brief: we need the new website.”

AURORA confirms it has the brief and gets to work from it and from your brand. You can see every stage of the job as it moves: received, in progress, delivery, test site, production.

02 — The brand kit

AURORA imports your brand kit.

AURORA pulls the brand kit out of the brief: the logo, every colour with its name and code, the fonts and what each is for, headings or body text.

The brand kit gets its own page in the reserved area.

03 — The design system

The brand kit becomes a design system.

Your brand rules turn into components: buttons, headings, forms, status labels, dark sections, cards. Each one already uses the colours and fonts from the brand kit.

When it’s done, AURORA tells you: the components are ready for the website.

04 — The strategy

The strategy: who to talk to and what to say.

On the Strategy page, AURORA writes down the four foundations of the work: the hungry crowd (people who already have the problem and are looking for a fix), the positioning, the offer and the messages.

05 — The website

AURORA builds the website.

With the brand kit, design system and strategy in place, AURORA builds the website.

It takes shape on the test site: menu, headline, copy, a button and three cards, Strategy, Brand and Website. When it’s finished, the test site is ready.

06 — A change

Ask for a change, pick a proposal.

To change a page, just ask in your own words on the Agent page. For example: “The Aurora page has confusing headings: rewrite it for the reader.”

If the change is clear, AURORA makes it right away. If there’s more than one way to do it, you get two proposals, each with a preview of the page. Approve the one you like, or ask for something to be changed. The approved version goes to the test site.

07 — The change

The change, on the test site.

The change lands on the test site, with a photo of the edited spot in every language. You check it there, then decide whether it goes live. In our example, the confusing headings give way to “What it delivers today” and “The rules behind every job”, with a button to read the method.

You decide what goes online.

08 — The presentation

Ask for a presentation, find it in Documents.

Ask for a company presentation and AURORA builds it from the brand kit, the strategy and the website copy.

It’s waiting for you on the Documents page, alongside everything else AURORA has delivered: market analysis, positioning, strategic blueprint, brand kit.

09 — The campaign

From strategy to a campaign for your niche.

Ask for a campaign aimed at one niche, architecture firms for example. AURORA starts from the strategy: who to look for and what to say to them. It shows you how many firms the niche holds and who its hungry crowd is: firms of 2 to 10 people looking for new projects.

Then it writes content made for them: LinkedIn posts with images, an email sequence and a landing page for the niche, all ready on the test site.

Beyond the nine steps

Working with AURORA, every day.

Your website is up. From here, AURORA works alongside you and your colleagues: videos, publishing at the time you pick, edits made right on the page.

With your colleagues

Work on it with your colleagues.

On the test site, you and your colleagues pin comments to any paragraph: a note, something to change, or the text already rewritten the way you want it. Every comment shows who left it.

A change request becomes a job for AURORA, which you follow on the Agent page. There, everyone follows their own jobs; admins see all of them and can step in.

Videos

Videos in your brand colours.

Ask for a video in your own words on the Agent page. AURORA makes five kinds: generated videos, assembled from short scenes checked one at a time, with subtitles in your website’s typeface; animated graphics and text with your logo and colours; videos made from your photos, with slow camera moves, or from a rotating 3D model; edits of the clips you supply; and videos of one person talking to camera, with the face and voice you pick the first time.

For your website and social channels you get a horizontal and a vertical version, plus a square one on request, each with its own cover image. Videos are billed in 10-second credits, which you can track on the AI usage page.

Scheduled publishing

Publish at the time you choose.

Next to the “Publish to production” button sits a calendar: pick a day and a time, and the job goes live at that moment. Or just tell AURORA, for example “publish at 12”.

The job shows when it’s scheduled, and you can move or cancel it. Scheduled publications have their own group on the Agent page, and AURORA lets you know once the job is live. Only an admin can schedule a release to production.

From test site to production

Test site first, then live.

Every change goes to the test site first. You review it, show it to colleagues, ask for corrections. Your public website stays untouched in the meantime.

Once you’re happy, an admin presses “Publish to production” and that job goes live, and only that one. Every other job stays on the test site until someone makes a call on it too.

Editing on the page

Edit right on the page.

Log in to the test site and open “Edit this page”. Type straight over any text; replace or remove an image by uploading a new one or picking one from Documents.

Press Send and the change goes straight to the test site. AURORA then carries it over to the page’s other languages.

AURORA does the work

You decide what goes online.

Each step builds on the one before: the design system comes from the brand kit, the campaign from the strategy. The full video is on the AURORA page; the rules AURORA follows on every job are set out in the method.
